Carrie dazzles us with her jewelry once again.

Promos for the new Sex and the City movie have been making waves on the internet, and we couldn’t help but wonder – what jewelry is Carrie wearing?

As usual, Ms Bradshaw dazzles us with her accessories.

In the promotional posters for the film, Sarah Jessica Parker is seen wearing a beautiful pair of sparkling earrings. The items are perfect for the shimmery, electric background, and a very chic choice for Ms Bradshaw.

As the years have gone on, Carrie’s style has gotten more refined and elegant – just like her! On the poster, SJP also dons a bunch of bold, gold bracelets on each arm. The pieces matches her golden strappy sandals for a put-together look.

Carrie wasn’t wearing her signature nameplate necklace, but that doesn’t mean the fashion statement is out of style. Girls should remember that these jewelry pieces are always trendy, no matter what decade it is.

We can’t wait for the film to hit the silver screen. We’ll be sure to plan our own jewelry accordingly when we head to the theater opening night (and wear our own nameplate necklace for the event)!

Some celebrities with an otherwise ’serious’ image are nevertheless fans of body art. Actress Camryn Manheim of the television drama ‘The Firm’ sports multiple earrings on the cartilage of one ear. Gillian Anderson, who played the cynical and skeptical FBI agent Dana Scully in the television series ‘The X Files,’ has a pierced belly button. Performers with tongue piercings include former Spice Girl Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) and dancer Jimmy Gulzar, while supermodels Christy Turlington and James King are proud of their piercings. Some sports celebrities also wear body jewelry, including WWE wrestlers A-Train and Billy Gunn, as well as football player Ricky Williams.

Body jewelry has also been used throughout the ages to enhance sensation, and by extension, sexuality and sexual performance. Genital and nipple piercing in both men and women, while not as widespread as nose, ear, tongue, navel and eyebrow piercing, still has its own following. Singer Janet Jackson has stated on the Oprah Winfrey talk show that she likes the sensation that her pierced nipples give her. Other celebrities with pierced nipples include rock musicians Axl Rose and Tommy Lee, Icelandic singer Bjork and rapper Lil Kim. Pop princess Britney Spears likewise has a pierced nipple.

Celebrities, whether they like it or not, are oftentimes looked up to as role models and the influence they wield over their fans is considerable. Fans emulate their idols’ preferences: from clothing, mannerism, even to the wearing of body jewelry. More and more, they are playing a leading role not only in the direction of today’s fashion trends but also in the shaping of modern pop culture.

The same as body jewelry, wearing jewelry is more and more popular. New and fashion designs come every day. It also decorate our body very nice and make people look more fashion.

The 2010 Academy Awards red carpet saw an amazing selection of new fashion styles and jewelry trends. There was much too ‘oooo’ and ‘ahhh’ at – like award winner Sandra Bullock’s Neil Lane diamond earrings and line diamond bracelet, Jennifer Lopez’s Cartier diamonds, and Kate Winslet’s 2.5 million dollar Tiffany yellow and diamond necklace.

I loved all the off the shoulder or strapless dress styles that some of the best dressed ladies were seen wearing. Kristen Stewart looked stunning in her blue satin gown with a simple jewelry accessory of a marquise cut diamond tennis bracelet.

With strapless and off the shoulder gowns, you really have to be careful about being to distracting or not complimenting the neckline. I think Kristen did it well by not wearing a necklace, which allowed the for her unique features and skin tone shine. The absence of a necklace was seen on a lot of ladies that night.

And still holding true as a popular trend are bulky cuff bracelets and wide diamond tennis bracelets. Fashion queens like Sarah Jessica Parker and Demi Moore were both seen with heavy stylish fashion bracelet.

The Oscar’s were amazing on many levels this year. With stunning and unique styles, you can be sure the bar is set for the rest of this year’s fashion.

We mentioned it before, but now that the movie is out, we have to hype it up again, but check out the petite cross necklace that Sandra Bullock wears in the new hit movie The Blind Side. Sandra’s got the stylish soccer mom look going for her in the movie, but she’s still looks great. The movie is seems to be doing great and quite a few people have fallen in love with her character’s look.

Always a trend setter, Jennifer Aniston has had some buzz in certain necklaces that she has worn in some recent movie. People have fallen in love with the heart and key pendant from Marley & Me. My personal favorite has been the wishbone necklace from He’s Just Not That Into You movie. I’ve seen both styles as a silver necklace and a gold necklace from the Jennifer Meyer collection. You can find something on the cheap by buying a cubic zirconia necklace instead of diamonds.

An oldie, but a goodie, is always the nameplate necklace worn by Sex and the City character Carrie. Sarah Jessica Parker blew this style out of the water, only to make other stars like Lauren Conrad adopt it to their style. Artist Andrea Williams grew up near the coast of Maine where she got inspired by the ocean and coastal nature. Her jewelry are made from beachstones and every single piece is spectacular. In this post, I have presented only the items from her Starry Night collection.

The earliest known gold jewelry made in the Americas has been discovered in southern Peru.

The gold necklace, made nearly 4,000 years ago, was found in a burial site.

Archaeologist Eugenia Zevallos showed the necklace to journalists.

“This finding is very important for Peru and the whole of South America. It’s a gold necklace, made of gold beads laminated with turquoise…It’s from 4,500 BC so it’s 6,500 years old.”

Researchers say the necklace suggests someone at the time already had the time and knowledge to make this ornament. This is a completely shock to researchers because people living in this region at the time were found primarily hunter-gatherers.

There is no evidence at the site that shows how it was made.
